Hi, my name is Cem Ozkan. I’m a solo developer with more than twenty years of hands-on experience building for the web, mobile devices, and the cloud. I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, where my thesis focused on language models and text summarization—a project that deepened my understanding of modern AI and data-driven design. Over the years I’ve moved comfortably between front-end design and back-end architecture, always chasing the balance of clean code and real-world impact. These days my focus is mobile apps—crafting products that fit in your pocket but still feel expansive and thoughtful. I enjoy the entire process, from sketching ideas to deploying them on scalable server infrastructure, and I thrive on the independence and creativity that come with working solo.
Away from the keyboard, life is just as rewarding. My wife and I are currently living in the Southeast Asia region, soaking up a warm, sunny tropical climate with our cat, Ceku, who has firmly claimed the role of household supervisor. Travel, new cultures, and a sense of adventure feed my curiosity and shape the way I build software: flexible, resilient, and a little bit playful. Whether I'm refining a mobile UI or sharing a quiet evening with my family, I try to keep the same philosophy—keep things simple, meaningful, and built to last.
I've built a wide range of projects on the web, working end-to-end with modern front-end technologies. My toolkit includes HTML5, CSS3, Sass, and Pug for clean, maintainable markup and styling, along with Vue.js and React.js for dynamic, high-performance interfaces.
I develop cross-platform mobile apps with React Native, Flutter, and Ionic, following a process that puts design and user experience at the center. From concept to release, I focus on creating smooth, visually polished apps that feel great in the user's hand.
I have solid experience building and maintaining back-end systems, using cloud platforms and scalable infrastructure to keep projects fast and reliable. My work often integrates services like Cloudflare for performance and security, and I leverage tools such as TensorFlow and other cloud technologies to handle data processing and machine-learning tasks behind the scenes.
